Bobcats Recognize Most Loyal Fans With Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Month

Over the course of the month, the team will treat its top fans to a variety of one-of-a-kind benefits, including in-arena recognition, courtside seats, pregame player meet and greet opportunities (pictured right), exclusive access to team practice and other unique recognition elements.

All season ticket holders are eligible for these randomly-selected offerings and have been automatically entered into the selection process as part of their season ticket holder status.

“All of our fans have provided tremendous support throughout our inaugural year,” said Bobcats President Ed Tapscott. “This month is really a thank you from Bernie Bickerstaff and our players, Bob Johnson and our ownership group and our entire organization.”

Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Month will culminate with a tribute to the BOBCATS F.A.N. (Fan Appreciation Night), when the team hosts the Detroit Pistons at their inaugural season finale on April 20. The team will give away more than $200,000 in prizes to randomly selected registrants through the evening. One lucky fan, pre-selected from registrations throughout the season, will win a new Mercedes-Benz courtesy of Beck Imports.

All fans in attendance will receive a BOBCATS F.A.N. t-shirt, compliments of Sprite. Plus, 30 lucky fans will be the recipients of the Bobcats players’ jerseys or shoes in a postgame on-court ceremony where players will give fans “the shirts off their backs” as a thank you for their support over the season. Fans will also be incorporated into many exclusive game situations, such as sitting on the team bench, public address announcing and reporting on the game for the team’s website, BobcatsBasketball.com.

Season ticket holders will also receive special offerings during April, including an exclusive discount of an additional $10 off for available single-game tickets in the $54, $35, $30 and $29 price levels. All full season and partial season ticket holders will receive double their normal discount for merchandise at the Team Store at the Charlotte Coliseum and all fans will receive a 20% discount for merchandise at the final three games.
